From 1972, when I was 8 years old I started to practice Karate and Kobudo. From 1978, I started to teach Karate and Kobudo. From 1980 I have written many articles about Kobudo in the leading newspapers, weekly and monthly magazines.

And I introduced Kobudo tournaments in India in the year 1986. In the year 1992 I was selected as Secretary General for World Unified Martial Arts Federation. Since I was conducted 12 WUMAF championships continuing for all martial arts.

In the year 1995 I completed research studies (MPhil) in Madras University in the topic of “Sociology of Martial Arts”.

I met Himanshi Eisuke Akamine and Sensie Hiroshi Akamine first time at Ryuku Kobudo HQ at Okiwana, Japan on April 1997. Since then I have traveled 21 times to Okiwana, Japan to learn advance techniques of Ryu Kyu Kobudo and Shorin Ryu Kyokai Shinbukan Karate – Do at HQ Okiwana, Japan from Sen Sei Hiroshi Akamine under the guidance of Esukie Akamine.

I am the first person who introduced the original Kobudo Katas in india. And also I am the only participant who participated in Kobudo tournament on behalf of India as well as South Asia – in the Okinawa Karte and Kobudo world tournament 1997. And in the 1999 the first Okinawa traditional Karate and Kobudo world tournament, I am the only person who participated on behalf of South Asia in Kobudo tournament in Sai category.

1999 & 2003 participated in ryukyr kobudo world tournament organised by head quarters and produced 5 international champions.

Since 2001, 5 international seminars did in india in the presence of Hiroshi akamine.

In 2001 I organized the first international seminar on Okinawa Karate and Kobudo first time in India with the presence of world president Hanshi Hiroshima Akamine.

I am the only person participated in the Okinawa Karate and Kobudo “Embu Tai Kai” martial arts festival – Japan, on behalf of South Asia in the year 2001.

In July 2001 I have traveled to Europe for strengthening the world unified martial arts federation (WUMAF) and visited London, Brussels, Amsterdam, German, Switzerland and France.

I am the only person authorized and recognized by my HQ for Ryu Kyu and Shorinry Kyokai Shinbukan in India.
